Ryan Sher and he said that the
Red Bull Elevation Course is absolutely amazing this year. It is so good that he had a hard time getting himself to stop riding. I will post any info. I hear about the contest as I get it.
The
Portland Trail Blazers had a crazy day at the
NBA Draft yesterday. Trade after trade after trade. Last I heard they had aquired 4 new players with 3 more to come from the 2nd Round of picks. Great another season to learn a bunch a names that won't be around after the season.
As of this Saturday,
Vult BMX and owner
Aaron Nardie will officially be residents of Portland. Resident is a loose term, last I heard he wasn't sure if he had a place to move into. Good luck with that. I attended a going away BBQ and Party for him last night and it was good times.

Crackin' down at Hillsboro...
I got this message today:
"just let everyone know that hillsburro cops are accually starting to care if people ride there! me and my friends were just mindig our buisnesse and letting all the skaters go (and they were doing the same. the didnt mindu us there al all) then the cops came a few skaters came out saying how there just trying to have fun just like the rest of us.and the cop was saying do you live her about 4 times and every time we said no. the were sitting out there on our bikes in the grass taking down out information and my friend was done.and needed to go back and get his shirt and the cop was saying yelling get back here after he stood up and started to take a step. the was saying how would you guys like some tickets i dont have any problem getting out pen and paper. just let every one know the cops are accualy starting to care."-nico
So take it easy and keep your eye's peeled if you decided to ride there. This is a pretty normal occurance once school lets out. Trust me, they will give you a ticket and make your life hell. Have fun in the sun.-ben

Redmond, WA Skatepark Contest...
"Hey all BMX riders!!!...we are working on getting the most kick as+ BMX JAM underway (first time ever) at the Redmond Park on Saturday, July 29th from 4-7pm. So, stayed dialed as we are working on prizes, food, drinks, music...but we need everyones help to make the whole thing come together!!! So, either get me free stuff to give away, mail me with your ideas/suggestions on the event, say you want to take photos/video or would like to be a MC, DJ, Judge Official, etc. The other option is...show up to ride and help out where needed...as you can, like set-up and clean-up, cause it will take all of us to make it happen!!! Flyers are in the works but SPREAD THE WORD...that BMX is being recognized and represented (in the form of a JAM) by the City of Redmond Parks Departement...so three cheers for them...as on Saturday JULY 29TH from 4-7PM at the REDMOND PARK there is going to be something great in the name of BMX...and you really need to be there!!!

3:45-4pm Food & Beverages (become available)
4-5pm AM Contest
5-6pm PRO Contest

Seeking higher Elevation...
Talked to
KC Badger today and he is leaving Tuesday to head up the
Redbull Elevation in Whistler, BC, Canada. He will making the trip with
Ryan Sher. I asked if anyone from the Solame crew was going to make it and he said that
Justin Inman will be riding in it. Sure enough, I am checking the
Redbull Elevation Blog and it turnsout that Stephen Murray broke his leg and Justin Hs been invited to take his place. Talk about a come up. Well I want to wish all those guys luck with the 40 foot jump. That's right, there is a 40 footer this year.

KC Badger is offically up in PDX through August. He rolled in the other night, just in time to help drink Ryan's bottle of Crystall for Boyd's birthday.
And on that note, it was Joshua Boyd, aka Boyd, aka Boyd Banks' BIRTHDAY on Tuesday!! Be sure to wish a homie a Happy Birthday next time you see him and maybe you'll be lucky enough to buy a Boyd Inc. sprocket from him soon.
Both these homies, and many more were also at the Shook/Mosh Premiere at GOODS on Friday night. Everyone had a fun time and the videos are both real good. I suggest you pick up both. Shook "Its On" is available now at
GOODS. Not quite sure when the Mosh video, "So Freestyle" drops, but it should be soon.

If you don't know you will now. Bruce Crisman has started a new clothing company by the name of Facad. The team line up is right above there, Davey Watson, Seth Kimbrough, Mike Hoder, and Bruce. Anyway, Bruce is fired up to expose the world to the teams riders so he immediately planned a road trip. To where, Killa Cali. The crew short 1 Seth Kimbrough arrived here tonight about 9pm. We hit up some In & Out and cruised around to check some spot in my neighborhood. It should be a good week of shredding. All I know is that Mike has some insane plan's for the end of the week.

Well I have been doing some work to bring more and new people through the site. There are also a lot of people that were one time fans of the site that do not know that it is up and kicking again. I just want to say hello to the those new people and say what up to the people who are coming to the site again for the first time. Below you will see an area that you can click on to leave a comment on any story. Hell, leave a comment on this one saying what up, or just give some ideas as to what you may like to see on the site. It is nice to know there are people out there. To the top left of the page you will also find the email to Slo and myself. Feel free to email anything you would want people to know about. Joe Kid Premiere reminder
Bike Gallery is going to have a showing of "Joe Kid on a Sting-Ray -The History of BMX-" this Thursday, June 8th. The premiere is to benefit the Glenhaven BMX/Skate Park that will is going up later this year.
There will be an old school BMX bke display and also a raffle for some bike from Redline, Diamonback, and other prizes from Pryme, Primo, and GOODS.

The Migration....
has begun. Eddie and Ashley started their move back to the NW today and Jesse W. is slated to leave tomorrow followed quickly there after by Rich. The winter and spring are on their way out and here comes summer. It be interesting to see what I do with all the extra time I have now that the crew is back home. If I could ony find my shuffle, riding solo would be alot easier.
It isn't even summer yet and it has been in the 90's for the last week. Don't worry, your good weather is just around the corner. Soon enough you will be complaining about the heat. Damn, I guess I just have to talk everyone into visiting. See ya in the fall.
