Premium, Mutt, Condo....

I was given a copy of the new Ride hot of the presses on Friday afternoon. Right away I knew it was going to be a good issue. How, well none other the Portland and personal homie Ryan Sher was gracing the cover. His coverage didn't stop with the cover, he also had a 1 page inter view about Subrosa, another almost full page pic, and a 2 page spread with sequence. Really happy for that guy.
The issue is full of so much really good stuff and a lot of it revolves around Portland. The biggest story in the mag is all about a hole that existed in Portland. At any given time you could find anyone living or staying at this place. I myself only visted this wonderland one time and that was on my last trip home, back in July. I stuck to the porch, and suprisingly I didn't literally stick to the porch.
You are probably wondering what the hell I am talking about, I am talking about the originally called the Premium Condo and in the end called the Mutt Condo. Alright I'm back...
I have really been trying to avoid this site at all costs and I think I have done a great job. The weeks leading up to Interbike, the week of Interbike and everyday after until now I have been spent. I have really been putting some serious time in at the office and thinking about riding.
Ken, Vince and AP came in and stayed at my place for a few days and that was really good. Thursday before the crew left we went over to Ride and met up with Fudger and Fat Tony. We then went over to Civic to watch Vince vs. Pyramid Round 3. It didn't work out, Vince still needs a bigger gear. I though he had grabbed one from the office, but I found it sitting on a work cart. I was joking Vince, you could have it. haha, oh well.
Ken and Vince headed out Thursday night after the Odyssey Tour to try and make it to Roseburg for the Fit/Premium Premier, and AP stayed one more night and met up with a friend the next day. It was good to have those guys in town. Ryan from the Armory was also in town, but he was staying at a hotel by LAX. He was in town on some business and I went in to kick it with him Friday night and did the same on Saturday. We ended Saturday with a visit to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. That place is soooo good.
There was no plans for Sunday. Well at least for myself. My new roommate, shredder Kurt Rasmussen, was moving in. I was way more stoked than his family to have him moving in. I will finally be living with another rider, so Cali. may start to look up from here, doubt it. I do look forward to riding more and with actually riding with someone, good stuff. His mom was helping with the move in and I pretty much stayed in my room once I saw her walk into the bathroom. The place is not horrible, but there are nothing but guys living here and there was recently a party, so the floor looked like hell. I hid out, I did not want to get the look, haha.

Facad Premier

The awaited Facad video, 'As One' will be premiering in PDX this
Friday October 20th @ 7:30pm.
The premier is going down at The Artisitery, a joint over in SE at 43rd and Division. Check the flyer for the exact address.
The video will be availible to buy at the premier and they are having a $25 DVD and longsleeve tee special. I also hear if you show up at the premier with a flyer you can get a sticker from free, and we know how the kids love stickers!
Bruce and crew have been clocking clips all summer to make this one hot vid, so be sure to be there. Also, remember, this premier is NOT at Goods so be sure to go to the right place.

Day of rest...
So I spent most of the day yesterday sleeping and healing from the week at Interbike. I really hope to go ride today, but I doubt that will happen. Prolly looking at a busy week going over the show and working on projects that we left off for show. Ken iws supposed to be staying with me, but I cannot get ahold of him. So the question for the day is: WHERE IS KEN?
