What do you do...

What do you do when this is at least day 3 of 100 plus degree temperatures? Well today I decided not to do anything but hide out in a movie theater and take advantage of their air conditioning. The theater of choice is the University Theater across the street from the UCI campus.
This theater is dialed. It is quite small and usually only shows independant films and documentaries. I have had a growing list of hard to find new releases so I thought it would be a good time to see them. Todays choices are King of Kong - Pocket full of quarters and Sicko. King of Kong is a documentary about the Donkey Kong video game and a man who decides to travel the country and beat the long time high score record. Seems pretty interesting. Go here to see its trailer. The other movie, Sicko is Michael Moore's newest film about the Insurance Industry in the US. You can check its trailer out here.
I wrote the above post before seeing either movie. King of Kong was fucking rad, see it if you can. I was really getting into Sicko, everything was presented in a way to allow you to make your own decision on the topic. Right as the film was building towards it's finally, about 20 Minutes from the end, the theater last all power. It turned out the at least 107 degree weather killed all of the power in the area. It was kinda crazy to be walking out into a nice day and there being no power to anything. Talk about Inconvenient.
Yesterday after the earthquake I met up with Jeff Z and Brad Simms at the Spine Ditch near Pasadena. It was soooooooo hot. After Brad took care of some business we headed over to USC to cruise around and check out beautiful girls. I eventually got a flat and Brad hop 180'ed over a 4 foot tall rail from flat for a picture. Dude is really good. That is all for now. Have a good day. B-dubbs was here.
