2009-05-29 13:29:49 -Orange Banger. #149

Another late start, still fighting this cold. I had a list of stuff to do today and every time I started on it I was pulled away from it. Pretty much non-stop busy from beginning to end. Had the Bell for lunch with Nuno and left at a decent time.

I hit Grey's on the way home and rode his new Model-C in my Top Siders on his grid box. Pretty fun. They had just wrapped a Warchurch Practice and then every one peaced out to go catch the Laker game. I talked what shit I could and let them be on their way. After that I grabbed some dinner and headed home to put in some work on my bikes to dial them all in for the OS Show.

I upgraded my Model-C from a prototype frame to a production one as my first task. Went smooth and super stoked how it turned out. My new gear ratio is a little tough, but I will get used to it. All I know is I now have a way higher cranking top speed. I need to dump the huge front tire and the bike will be dialed. I also watched The Spirit while building the bike, ugh, so bad. Not my kind of movie maybe.

After the 24" I started work on my Elf 20". I needed to put it's wheels back on along with some Era Correct tires. I have this nicer set of Blast bars that I thought about using. When I took each set off the bikes they were on and compared them, the nicer bars were too new, year wise, for my Elf. This is one of those times I wish people had undo buttons, cause after a bunch of work I finished right where I started. I also did some work on my handle bar pad and wiped the bike down, DIALED! I also put the movie Appaloosa in while I worked on this one. I thought it was pretty good, no complaints from me.

Pretty good night in the garage while Rachael had a girls night in the living room. They watched Repo Man: The Genetic Opera. I saw some of it, ehh, balances out the good with the terrible. Colby also had her birthday at midnight, so I wished her a Happy one and will again. Happy Birthday Colby. I know she does not see this, so it probably don't matter. Not really sure how many people actually see this thing. Cue the music.
