Up early with the aide of the alarm. Well the radio went off and about an hour later I got up and showered. I debated about going to ride Etnies. I hit up Grey and he couldn't go.
I eventually went out to the garage and messed with the Model-C for bit and I felt like hell afterwords. I hit the road anyway figuring I would just run up to the office. On the way I decided to just go to Etnies, only an hour late and feeling nice and sick.
Drive was fun as hell, nice speeds and fun lane changing action. I ended up at the park about 11:15am. Usually the session goes till 12 or so. As I roll up on my bike the park is just getting done with being dried off. I guess it rained out there.
Turns out I was perfectly late and caught the beginning of the session. I only had my 24" today. This is the first time I have ridden it with pegs and the harder gearing. After a bit I was used to it and was able to do most everything where it would work. I tried for a while to do 540 Tailtaps since I actually have brakes on the 24 and never really got one to work. Came close alot, soon enough I guess.
They extended the session but I bailed after about an hour. I didn't want to over do it and make myself feel even sicker. I decided to hit up my favorite Mexican spot in Fullerton since I has been months and a bowl of Menudo sounded perfect for my cold. I did the numbers and also got some Chorizo and Eggs. I devoured all of the soup and most of the other plate.
On the way out I hit up Kurt to see where he was riding since I heard from Stephan he was with Walter and the crew that stopped by the office this past week. They ended up being way out towards the desert already so I passed.
As I was driving past the Fullerton Park I saw a group of dudes I knew and I made the turn around to say what's up. I chatted for a bit then headed to the office to pick up some issues of GO so I could scan and get my poster ready for the Spike Bike Display.
I worked on the poster and actually took my temperature a few times. I felt warm, but all systems checked out fine. Still feeling under the weather and I hope I am getting better. I wish Penicillin was over the counter. Is there a way for someone to really get addicted to health like that? I needed a pick me up movie to escape from the rotting in my brain from an afternoon of nothing. Watching For the Love of the Game. I love that movie. Might have to add it to my top 5. Too many good ones the narrow them down to 5.
