2009-10-05 22:10:44 -Dinner is Served. #278

Good day today. Met with the contractor about some office projects and worked on some stuff for JC. I really payed for my late night of moving last night with a lack of sleep that meant a tiring day.

Once home I passed out for a bit. When I woke up I decided I was going to cook for the first time in several years. You see, the last few places I have lived, I have not been happy with my kitchen set up. First place in California's kitchen was terrible and just seemed real gross and my last place was just weird for me to share it and be able to cook any extensive meals. I did enjoy quite a few meals prepared from it, thanks Rachael, but I couldn't use the place.

I finally have a kitchen I can get down with. Clean, new and I don't have to share it, haha. The meal for the night was spaghetti with mushroom, meat sauce. I may have mentioned I moved with almost no kitchen stuff, so I was using almost all new tools and pans. The only carry over I have had forever and will never get rid of is my noodle pot, I love that giant stainless thing!

I ran to the store for some spices after watching the opening plays of the Monday night Vikings/ Packers Game. Talked to Shad real quick while at the store and hauled ass on the M Fn' Ruckus home. All I know is when all was cooked and devoured, I was very full and very happy. Great dinner night and I have tons of leftovers for tomorrow. A gift that keeps on giving, well, at least once more.
