2009-10-15 20:40:17 -Busy Bee-dubbs. #288

Started my day out running across town to Best Buy to grab a new DVD drive for my computer that is limping along really slowing down my productivity. On the way back through Chris reminded me that we needed to restock our paper supplies. I mentioned I was on the Scooter but I was up for the challenge. The above picture is what that mission looked like. Well that or my new Airbag and Fairing for the MF'n Ruckus.

After my morning errands I worked on my computer box, had our normal Thursday lunch with Taj, received new go faster parts for the scooter, ran up to Empire for goodies, Alamo Draft House for Where the Wild Things Are tickets, then to Harbor Freight for tools to work on the Ruckus, then back to work for a bit to finish up the computer and almost finally home to tear the Ruckus apart in my living room to install a new Variator and 6.5gram weights.

The install went really fast, actually took me longer to get the Living room prepped and the scooter in than it did to install the parts. I went out for a quick test run and it seemed like it was a bit faster. I then headed back across town to deposit my paycheck and on that ride I really could feel the improvement. It was pretty dialed. I was finally able to call it a night after some dinner, I am beat. Just joking, I am going to see WTWTA in a few minutes, gonna be so good!
