2009-10-23 09:36:49 -A Texan...Again. #296

Well I was up and at em in the 6am hour to make it out the door and to the DMV by the time they opened so I could get my Texas license. The first office I stopped at had actually been permanently shut down so I was scrambling to what I thought was the next nearest office up North. Half way there I found out from Forrest there was actually another spot he went to right near where we live. Too late to turn around.

I made it to the office not to much later and I was about the 6th person in the entrance line. I gave the materials they needed, I got a number and the forms I needed to fill out. I filled them out real quick and took my seat. In no time I was called up, sorted out and an actually good picture taken. Time to race back to the office for a 10am appointment with the AC guy.

I grabbed some Menudo on my way in and got the office opened. Then of course, the AC dudes don't show up until almost 12, no reason to rush. The day was pretty busy, meeting with people that stopped by for various office jobs and then I get an email from out contractor and he was backing out of helping us. So I hit oh shit mode and started making calls. I ended the day right at 6, I was warn out from all of the running around and didn't take a lunch. Home to chill and up early to meet the electrician in the morning.

Above photo is one I shot during the 5-10 minute wait I had to get my Texas License. I am officially a Texan again.
